Board awards tenders worth 63m rials
MUSCAT The Tender Board held its meeting under the chair of HE Dr Rasheed Bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board, on Monday.   

The meeting awarded 63,045,676 rials worth of tenders for the following projects:

1. Construction of water distribution networks in the wilayats of Ibra and Al Qabil in the Governorate of North Sharqiyah worth 25,428,651 rials.

2. Construction of asphalt road in the Wilayat of Mahda in the Governorate of Musandam at a cost of 15,698,822 rials.

3. Expansion of power lines and its associated electro mechanical works at Omantel sites for fixed and mobile phones at a cost of 7,800,000 rials.

4. Additional works related to the supply, installation, integration and operation of (3G) equipment worth 4,080,162 rials.

5. Supply, installation, integration, testing and operation of power generators and its associated electromechanical works at Omantel sites at a cost of 2,000,000 rials.

6. Construction of a bridge that connects old Diba to new Diba in the Wilayat of Diba in the Governorate of Musandam at a cost of 1,415,800 rials.

7. Supply and installation of catalysts for the Isomers Treatment Unit at Mina Al Fahl Refinery worth 1,332,502 rials.

8. Developing and upgrading the efficiency of Varian system at the Oncology Centre at the Royal Hospital at a cost of 1,292,848 rials.

9. Additional works for the construction of water distribution network in Hijj village in the Wilayat of Mahout in the Governorate of Al Wusta at a cost of 976,018 rials.

10. Maintenance of equipment at all health units in the Governorate of North Sharqiyah at a cost of 393,244 rials.

11. Additional works for the construction of  digital TV studios complex worth 375,000 rials.

12. Additional works for the consultancy services for amending the design of Birkat Al Mouz - Seeq road at a cost of 329,074 rials.

13. Additional works related to the maintenance of dusty roads in the mountainous areas in the Governorate of Dhofar at a cost of 300,000 rials.

14. Additional works for the construction of water supply network in the Wilayat of Duqm worth 278,130 rials.

15. Additional works for the construction of water distribution network for Hadf and Elffi villages in the Wilayat of Mahda in the Governorate of Buraimi at a cost of 252,228 rials.

16. Additional works related to the consultancy services for the studies and designs for Duqm Airport project in the Governorate of Al Wusta at a cost of 250,364 rials.

17. Maintenance of tools and equipment for hospitals and health units in the Governorate of Muscat worth 170,243 rials.

18. Maintenance of equipment and tools of the Health  Ministry’s building worth 167,944 rials.

19. Additional works for providing Microsoft licenses for Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company worth 165,967 rials.

20. Additional works for the provision of consultancy services for managing the implementation of Hasik - Al Shuwaimiyah road in the Governorate of Dhofar at a cost of 162,186 rials.

21. Maintenance and operation of IT programmes for the Health Ministry at a cost of 160,350 rials.

22. Emergency works for Jaalan Bani Bu Ali transformers station at cost of 147,880 rials.

23. Maintenance of tools and equipment at Khoula  Hospital in the Governorate of Muscat worth 137,939 rials.

24. Additional works for Umm Al Jamamil and Al Qutaitrah road in the Wilayat of Liwa in the Governorate of North Al Batinah at a cost of 31,320 rials.

The board also opened bids for Tender No. (61/2012) for supply of surgical materials for the Health Ministry and the Tender  No. (27/2012) for the construction of (132 KV) dual-power line with its associated (11/33/132 KV) distribution stations in the Governorate of Musandam.
