| Korean PM honours Sultanate’s envoy |
SEOUL Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Han Seung-soo, received on Saturday HE Moosa Bin Hamdan Al Ta’ie, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Korea, at the end of his tour of duty. The Korean prime minister expressed his government’s appreciation for the efforts made by the ambassador in promoting relations between the two countries successfully under the wise leaderships of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and President Lee Myung-bak of Korea, and the steps taken by the two countries in establishing strong and solid relations over the years. He wished the ambassador success in his future assignments.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the Korean president along with His Majesty’s government keenness to develop cooperation and relations with Korea and his wishes of further progress, success and welfare to the people of Korea.
On behalf of the Korean president, the Korean prime minister conferred the Excellent Diplomatic Service Medal on the ambassador in appreciation of his efforts.
