| Omani cultural function ends in Syria |
Damascus The ‘Omani cultural days’ held at the Arab Culture Center in Damascus concluded under the auspices of Mohammed Turki Alsayyid, Syrian Minister of Agriculture.
The ceremony was attended by HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Hailal Al Ma’amari, Undesecretary for Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and chairman of the Omani delegation.
HE Dr Mohammed Bin Salim Al Shanfari, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Syria was also present
on the occasion.
The ceremony, including the exhibition of a large number of photographs on the Omani environment and the developments witnessed by the Sultanate under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, attracted a large number of people.
It should be noted that the activities of the Omani cultural days that run from November 2 to 6 are aimed at displaying the Sultanate’s rich history and culture.
