Fire at Amiantitís Rusayl plant
MUSCAT A massive fire broke out at Amiantit Oman Company on Saturday that civil defence authorities were informed about after dense fumes were noticed.

Centers of the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance at Muscat governorate immediately rushed to the site and were able to control the blaze in the plant of the company in Rusayl Industrial Zone. There were no injuries reported.

The civil defence authority received a call by one of the employees who said that there were dense fumes in the plant. The organs of the civil defence authorities arrived at the location. It took them more than an hour to control the blaze. The fire destroyed pipes, wooden structures and items and small parts of the plant.
