Oman to attend forum in Indonesia
MUSCAT The Sultanate will take part in the Bale Democracy Forum (BDF), which begins in Bale, Indonesia, on Thursday.

The Sultanate will be represented at the two-day forum by an official delegation chaired by honourable Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Al Hosani, Deputy Chairman of the State Council, and honourable members of the State Council and Shura Council.   

The forum will discuss the topic, ‘Enhancing Democracy Participation in a Changing World, in a Response to Voices of Democracy’.   The Bale Democracy Forum, established in 2008, is a forum for regional dialogue on strengthening democracy and disseminating the culture of peace.
