| PACP withdraws melamine ware |

AL AWABI The Public Authority for Consumer Protection in Al Batinah South has withdrawn huge quantities of melamine ware manufactured in Taiwan.
Hamad Bin Naser Al Adawi, Director-General of Consumer Protection in Al Batinah South, said the melamine ware contain formaldehyde. The inspection teams collected the plates from commercial centres and big shops in the governorate, especially Barka, Al Rustaq and Al Musannah.
PACP recently issued a decision banning sale of melamine ware manufactured in Taiwan, he said.
