78 housing aid requests approved
MUSCAT The Housing Assistance Committee approved 78 requests for housing assistance at its weekly regular meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting, chaired by Aisha Bin Abdullah Al Alawi, Assistant Director-General of Housing Projects at the Ministry of Housing, was attended by officials from the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Ministry of Interior and Oman Charitable Organisation. 

The committee received 60 housing assistance requests from Muscat governorate, including 30 in the Wilayat of Al Seeb, 15 in the Wilayat of Quriyat, seven in the Wilayat of Muscat, four in the Wilayat of Muttrah, three in the Wilayat of Al Amerat and one in the Wilayat of Bausher.

In Batinah North governorate, the committee approved five housing assistance requests, including two in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq, two in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah and one in the Wilayat of Saham.

The committee approved seven housing assistance requests from Al Batinah South governorate, including three in the Wilayat of Barka, two in the Wilayat of Nakhal, one in the Wilayat of Al Awabi and one in the Wilayat of Al Musannah.

Two housing aid requests were approved from Al Dakhilyah governorate, including one each in the wilayats of Nizwa and Sumail.

The committee approved one housing request in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi at Al Buraimi governorate and one in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi at Al Sharqiyah North governorate, and two in the Wilayat of Sur at Al Sharqiyah South governorate.
