| Sultanate participates in Russia summit |
ST PETERSBURG The Sultanate, represented by the Regional Municipalities and Water Resources Ministry, is currently participating in the 36th session of the World Heritage Committee in St Petersburg, Russia.
The session, which will last till July 6, will review the status of the maintenance of world heritage properties and what is related to setting up a list of world heritage and another list for the world heritage at risk. It will also review the reports conducted in the previous meeting, as well as the reports and activities implemented by the World Heritage Centre. The session avails the opportunity to exchange expertise and discuss best practices and means pursued in the fields of maintaining world heritage system.
