| Futaisi attends GCC panel meeting |
RIYADH The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, attended the 21st meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Posts, Communications and Information Technology in Riyadh on Wednesday, in the presence of GCC ministers of communications.
The Sultanate’s delegation was chaired by HE Dr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications.
The meeting discussed approval of the coordination meeting between delegations participating in the meeting to hold a dialogue with the European Union in Brussels.
It discussed the impact of Internet on youth, and adopting a mechanism for coordination and operation of second and third generation mobile networks in border areas between the GCC states.
